We understand that purchasing a trailer is a significant investment. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.

By completing a purchase from Elite Trailer Center, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return Policy.

Return Eligibility
What qualifies for a return

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request is initiated within 7 days of the delivery date
  • The trailer is in its original, unaltered condition — unused and unmodified
  • All original documentation, titles, and paperwork are included
  • The trailer has not been registered, titled, or licensed in your name
  • You have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Return Timeframe
Deadlines you need to know

All return requests must be initiated within strict time windows. Here's a timeline of the return process:

Day 1
Trailer delivered. Inspect your trailer thoroughly upon receipt and note any issues immediately.
Days 1–7
Contact us via WhatsApp or email to report damage, defects, or initiate a return request. Do not wait — late claims cannot be honored.
Days 2–5
Our team reviews your claim, requests photos/documentation, and provides a resolution decision within 48 hours of receiving all required information.
After Day 7
Return window closes. Claims submitted after this date will not be accepted, except for valid manufacturer warranty claims.

Important: The 7-day window begins on the delivery date, not the purchase date. Please inspect your trailer immediately upon delivery and document any concerns with photos.

Return Shipping & Transportation
Who pays for getting it back

Trailers are large, heavy items — return transportation requires careful coordination. Here's how shipping costs are handled:

  • Our error or defect: Elite Trailer Center covers 100% of return transportation costs
  • Change of mind or buyer-initiated: Customer is responsible for all return transport costs
  • All returns must be pre-approved — do not ship anything back without a Return Authorization number
  • Trailers must be returned to our designated facility in their original condition

To get your Return Authorization number, contact us on WhatsApp at +1 (682) 432-4814 or email us. Returns without authorization will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense.

Refunds & Store Credit
How and when you get your money back

Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be processed as follows:

Step 1
Trailer received at our facility and inspected for condition (typically within 1–2 business days of arrival).
Step 2
Refund approval email sent to you. If the trailer does not meet return conditions, we'll notify you and arrange for its return.
Step 3
Refund processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method only
  • Original delivery/shipping fees are non-refundable (unless our error)
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for non-defective returns
  • Store credit is available as an alternative with no restocking fee

Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
Items that cannot be returned

The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Custom-built or special-order trailers made to your specifications
  • Trailers that have been used, driven, loaded, or hauled
  • Trailers that have been modified, welded, painted, or altered
  • Trailers registered, titled, or licensed in any state
  • Returns requested after the 7-day window
  • Items sold under clearance, final-sale, or as-is pricing

Manufacturer defects discovered after 7 days are handled through the manufacturer's warranty program. Contact us and we'll help coordinate your warranty claim.

How to Start a Return
Step-by-step process

Starting a return is straightforward. Follow these steps and our team will guide you through the rest:

Send Photos & Documentation
Send clear photos of the trailer from multiple angles, close-ups of any damage or defects, and your proof of purchase. This speeds up your claim significantly.
Receive Return Authorization
Our team reviews your claim within 48 hours and issues a Return Authorization (RA) number if approved. Do NOT ship anything without this number.
Resolution & Refund
Once the trailer is received and inspected, your refund or replacement is processed within 5–10 business days. We'll email you every step of the way.

What if my trailer arrived with damage I didn't notice until a few days later?
Contact us immediately — even if it's within the 7-day window, the sooner you report it the better. Send photos and we'll assess whether it's a transit damage or pre-existing issue. We work with our shipping partners to resolve freight damage claims quickly.
Can I exchange for a different trailer instead of a refund?
Yes! If you'd like to swap your trailer for a different model, size, or type, we're happy to facilitate an exchange. Contact us within the 7-day window and our team will help you find the right trailer. Price differences will be charged or credited accordingly.
Is there a restocking fee for returns?
For returns due to defects or our error, there is no restocking fee. For buyer-initiated returns on eligible items, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price may apply to cover inspection, cleaning, and re-listing costs. Choosing store credit instead of a refund waives the restocking fee entirely.
I bought a custom-order trailer — can I return it?
Unfortunately, custom-built and special-order trailers are non-returnable as they are built specifically to your specifications. However, if the custom trailer arrives with manufacturing defects or doesn't match your approved order specs, we will work with the manufacturer to make it right at no cost to you.
How do I know my refund has been processed?
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been approved and submitted. Depending on your bank or payment processor, it typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days. If you haven't seen it after 10 business days, contact us and we'll follow up immediately.
What warranty comes with my trailer?
All trailers sold by Elite Trailer Center include the manufacturer's standard warranty, which varies by brand and model. Warranty details are included in your purchase documentation. For warranty claims after the 7-day return window, contact us and we will help coordinate the claim directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
